Administrative Assistant
We are a busy accounting and tax firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team. This role is ideal for someone organized, professional, and comfortable handling confidential financial information.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and assist clients in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Organize client files (digital and paper)
- Perform data entry and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
- Scan, print and copy tax documents
- Support staff with administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during tax season
Preferred:
- Prior office experience
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and/or accounting
Schedule:
- Part-time 15 -20 (flexible hours)
- In-office position
Compensation:
- $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
- Additional hours available during tax season
